About Ray
He is a published photographer currently living in the center of Canada (i.e. Winnipeg). His work focuses on inspirational portrait and documentary photography. His portfolio includes weddings, grad events, family portraits, landscapes, sporting events, and real estate. He really knows how to capture the moment: the facial reaction, the emotion, or the expression that only occurs over the span of a split second and will never happen the same way again. With his landscape photos, his goal is that when you see a photo it will make you want to go there and see it for yourself.
When you work with Ray, you really feel like you are the only thing in his life at that moment. During a portrait session, he does his best to make you feel comfortable, allowing you to be yourself during the whole experience. Many portrait clients have said, despite not generally liking pictures of themselves, that Ray had a way of making them look good, and they were grateful (and quite excited) for the quality of photos they received. For other events and projects, Ray has a thorough way about his work that will leave you with more value than expected; he knows how to over-deliver.
He is passionate about his work and is also passionate about developing a life-long relationship with his clients. He isn't just in it for the one-off session; he really wants to cultivate life-long connections that he can continue to serve better and better. His clients benefit from this sort of arrangement since he develops a greater understanding of how to provide images in their preferred style or brand.
If this sounds like a good fit to you, it sure wouldn't hurt to send him a quick message and start a conversation. Who knows what may come of it, but you will never know if you don't take the risk...
