He is a published photographer currently living in the center of Canada (i.e. Winnipeg). His work focuses on inspirational lifestyle and documentary photography, shooting portraits, landscapes, weddings, and sporting events. He really knows how to capture that moment: the facial reaction, the emotion, or the expression that only occurs over the span of a split second and will never happen the same way again. With his landscape photos, his goal is that when you see a photo it will make you want to go there and see it for yourself.
When you work with him, you really feel like you are the only thing in his life at that moment. He does his best to make you feel comfortable, allowing you to be yourself during the whole experience. Many portrait clients have said, despite not generally liking pictures of themselves, that Ray had a way of making them look good, and they were grateful (and quite excited) for the quality of photos they received.
He is passionate about his work and is also passionate about developing a life-long relationship with his clients. He isn't just in it for the one-off gig; he really wants to cultivate life-long clients that he can continue to serve better and better as he gets to know them more. This benefits his clients as he develops a greater understanding of their preferred image style or branding.
If this sounds like a good fit to you, it sure wouldn't hurt to send him a quick message and start a conversation. Who knows what may come of it, but you will never know if you don't take the risk...
